A rare voyage in paradise departs on November 19: our guided Marquesas Cruise.
Cabins are still available for our special cruise aboard the Aranui November 19 to December 2, 2011. Frank and Hinano Murphy will be onboard as featured lecturers and accompany guests throughout the island adventures.
Voyaging on the Aranui is a compelling and fascinating way to experience the spectacular Marquesas. In addition to being a comfortable cruise ship, the Aranui is also a freighter that serves as a lifeline that goes to all of the islands where naturally, it gets a warm reception at every stop. The crew of the ship is made up of local islanders, from the freight hands to the cruise staff and even the captain.
Each day brings a new island. Nuku Hiva, Hiva Oa, Ua Po, Fatu Hiva… the names invoke epic tales of the South Seas. The islands themselves are some of the most dramatic found anywhere on earth, and the people embody Polynesian culture and hospitality that is unlike any other in the world.
Would you like to join us? We have a great group that will be with us. Contact us if you'd like more information or are interested in being a part of this once-in-a-lifetime journey. Complete expedition details are available at tahitiexpeditions.com.
